This set of paintings represents the abstraction of the brouhaha of the city. Following an overwhelming black (the noise) on white (the silence), we know how much the city can be noisy. Other colors represent emotions that contextualize the sound : the red connects with the nerves (strong presence in the city) and the green with the lightness. Naturally, they also remind us of traf c lights.
