POP-EAR II

Year: 2011

Material: Oil

Size: 150 x 120 cm

Description:

We could believe that this woman (by the essence of her ear) who’s sleeping is deaf, because she doesn’t experience any lack of confort (the zebra-stripped lines that we saw previously). But Marzal explains that this woman isn’t deaf because the drawing in which she’s represented has colors. She’s just a woman who can hear, but who’s peacefully sleeping, without any interferences.
